Lil' Free Veggie Program

Lil' Farmstand gratuito

Sign up to share veggies

If you are blessed with the resources to share we make it easy!

  1. Shop at your local grocery store, farm, or farmers market.

  2. Take some of your home garden harvest.

  3. Bring them to one of our 10 donations stations to donate.

  4. Then we'll do the rest! Delivering them to families in need.

The donation stations are spread throughout the city and you can drop 24X7, as we collect every morning during the summer. 7 days a week!

Sign up to receive veggies

If your family's budget is feeling stretched these days with no room left to buy fresh vegetables, then come and share in some fresh harvested veggies this summer.  They're donated fresh specifically for you :)

Everything is free for you!  Just bring your own bag and select from the variety of veggies we offer 7 days a week!

Sign up to volunteer

Each morning we go out and collect vegetables from gardeners and farmers and deliver them in the afternoon to families that need help with affording fresh veggies.

Our volunteers help us gather in the mornings, sort/repackage midday, and then deliver out to families in the early afternoon.  We couldn't do what we do without them!

Give to support our Farm to Family Fund

Each summer we purchase thousands of pounds of veggies from our local farmers.  Giving them a financial boost and adding variety for our Farmstand families.

This is a win win!  Supporting our local farms and putting nourishing food on the tables of families in need!

Just $5 a week will allow us to bring a bountiful 400+ lbs worth of veggies this summer to the dinner tables of families in need!

Socios comprometidos a llevar esto a nuestros vecindarios

"I love seeing my children pick veggies they love or have never tried and then preparing/eating them with our family."

"I grew up on a farm, yet as an adult I am living in the middle of a city where I can barely afford my rent, let alone fresh produce. The farmstand reminds me of the happier days growing up."

Tengo una niña diabética y estamos tratando de comer más saludables todos para que no se sienta sola en esto.

"I have a diabetic girl and we are trying to all eat healthier, so that she does not feel alone in this.".

Incrementar nuestra resiliencia alimentaria local

"It makes a big difference because we are on fixed income and can supplement our groceries which we have to put on a credit card.  Since visiting the stand I have learned to prepare meals that I never imagined making. I Google recipe ideas , add protein & I'm all set. Since visiting the farm stand I have been inspired to educate myself on seasonal produce, how it is grown & ways to incorporate different kinds of produce into our meals . We are truly grateful. TY!"

"Vida mais saudável"

"It is good knowing I can get fresh veggies when I don't always have the money to buy them."

We are grateful for our Presenting Sponsor, Service Credit Union, for their support and dedication in helping this program thrive in our community, as well as to all our growers/shoppers that give making this possible!

We couldn't do it without everyone working together and for Dartmouth Hitchcock and the UU Church of Nashua in believing in this program back in 2020 when they helped us launch a pilot version during the pandemic in 2020 that continues to expand!
